Background:
All too often libraries used by adults and students include a disproportionate
number of books that present skewed and inaccurate depictions of Israel.
Volumes by Edward Said, Noam Chomsky and other extreme detractors of Israel
are almost certain to be available, but solid works presenting reliable
information about Israel are often few in number or omitted entirely from
library collections. We can help change this troubling situation and assure
that Americans have the opportunity to read accurate, complete and balanced
books on the Arab-Israeli conflict. With this in mind, please consider
participating in CAMERA's Adopt a Library Project.
